M/G Unicompartmental Knee System
Patient Specific Solutions
The M/G® Unicompartmental Knee System provides a versatile
system that permits normal biomechanical function, provides secure fixation,
and facilitates precise implantation. A wide range of sizing options for
both femoral and tibial components provides intraoperative flexibility and
optimal patient fit.
User Friendly Instrumentation
The MIS™ Intramedullary (IM) Instrumentation System and the MIS Extramedullary (EM) Instrumentation System for the M/G Unicompartmental Knee are designed to help provide accurate, reproducible, minimally invasive techniques, and eliminate many of the complexities that are inherent in some unicompartmental knee instrumentation systems
Designed for Function and Stability
The key to optimal fit and function lies in the accurate reproduction of the
dimensions and curvature of the femoral condyle, and in the number of sizing
options available. The A/P and M/L curvatures of the femoral component
closely match those of the actual femur, resulting in accurate biomechanical
and kinematic function. The superior tip of the component is tapered to
prevent patellar impingement during flexion. In addition, the mediolateral
contour of the component is broadly radiused. This not only provides better
bone coverage, but in the event the components are not perfectly aligned,
this design will minimize stress concentrations.
